We strongly believe that research and education of new generation of scientists will ensure a healthier future for the Negev residents. During the last decade, multiple high impact projects studying the health effects of environmental hazards in Negev residents were promoted by NEHRI. We have developed novel tools for the assessment of environmental exposures among the Negev residents (such as air pollution, climate, green space and noise). This unique knowledge will contribute to the development of new approaches for the prevention of detrimental effects of global warming on human health.
